OPI: What Wizardry is This? (Liquid Sand)

Hello beautiful readers. Happy Saturday! I hope you're all having a nice relaxing weekend. I am going to an Arbonne party tonight. I have never tried any Arbonne products so if any of you enjoy the brand let me know what your must haves are.

Today I want to show you a polish that was sent to me for consideration. This is What Wizardry is This? from the OZ Great and Powerful Collection that came out a couple months ago. This is a Liquid Sand finish, and it's super pretty!

What Wizardry is This? is a deep bronze-y brown color with gold shimmer.  The gold shimmer in this is absolutely stunning. I just love the way this one looks on.  I am pretty positive that this would look amazing on every skin tone.

Application was easy as pie. I used two coats for full opacity.
Being that it is a liquid sand finish it's a textured matte. I do not use a topcoat with these Liquid Sand polishes because I want to keep that textured matte finish. If you do use a top coat on these they will lose that matte and appear like any other shimmer. So you can wear these two ways!

Love it or leave it?

Let me know your Arbonne suggestions in the comments. Have a nice weekend!

Zoya: Micky

Hello loves! I cannot even believe it's already Wednesday! Are you kidding me? Where does the time go?! On Wednesdays we wear pink so today it's Zoya's Micky for your viewing pleasure. This was sent to me for consideration.

Zoya's Micky is a hot pink with some really subtle microshimmer. Zoya describes this as a coral, but I do not see coral in this color at all. What were you thinking Zoya Fairies?! In any event, this is a really pretty pink for spring and summer.  The microshimmer is really really subtle but makes this color a bit more fun than a flat pink. To my eye that shimmer is silver in color, maybe white. I cannot be sure.

The formula on this was excellent. I used two coats for opacity and it went on smoothly with no streaking or balding. This is highly pigmented and has a nice shine!

Who else is a fan of this pretty pretty pink!? I want to hear your thoughts on this polish! Also, what have you all been up to? Is it finally warming up near you? It's been warmer here but we just got another cold front so the beautiful weather is not sticking around just yet.

Have a wonderful day everyone! Thanks for taking the time to check the blog!

Dermelect: Buzz-Worthy

Hi all! Thanks for checking in today! I hope you're doing well! Today I'm going to  share a bright color that was sent to me for consideration by the brand Dermelect.  This is Buzz-Worthy which is a SUPER bright, highlighter yellow.

I will be honest and tell you that the color doesn't do much for me. I just don't typically wear yellows at all. This is a bright highlighter neon yellow. Even though it is neon it doesn't have too much white in the base so it doesn't go on matte like some neon colors do. I do appreciate that! I am just not someone who gravitates towards these colors.
Dermelect makes a quality lacquer though, so if I look at this without regard to the color (which there's nothing wrong with, it's just not my cup of tea), it's a great polish. I only needed two coats for opacity, which is excellent for a color of this nature. Some yellows are a nightmare, something to do with the yellow pigments, but this is a piece of cake to apply. I had no streaking, no balding and no problems whatsoever.

Dermelect makes some great polishes, this color just isn't for me. Dermelect polishes are peptide infused, DBP, Toluene & Formaldehyde free, and cruelty free. They strengthen your nails and are long lasting!  They retail for $14 each.

What are your favorite Dermelect colors? Do you like these types of yellows?
