Zoya: Storm

Of course I said I was not going to focus completely on nail polish anymore and, alas, it's a nail polish post. What can I say? I am a creature of habit.

This is Zoya's Storm and I checked, it's still available on their website for purchase. I pulled it out on a whim the other day and remembered just how much I love a good holo look.Yes, I know, it's still summer, but I have been craving fall and leaning towards some darker colors these days.

These photos are with two coats, and of course topped with my beloved Seche Vite top coat. I had no issues with application and found it to be nice and opaque. I love the holo glitter on this one.

What do you think of this one? Love it or leave it?

Blogging...

Well . . . it's been a while. (And the understatement of the year award goes to...).  But seriously, hello there, thanks for reading. Apologies for disappearing. I'm still alive, and still loving nail polish, I just got a little busy, and a little uninspired by my content, so I took a break. I'm back now. Sort of. . .

I say sort of because I am not coming back to this blog with the intention of recreating what it once was. I am coming back to this space on the web, as my already established internet space, to share things I love. What does that mean for you, my readers? Well, it can mean a few things. Some of you might like the new content I put out, some of you might not. I'd love for you to stick around, but if you don't because you came here for the nail polish, I'd, of course, understand. I'll still sometimes post nail polish, because I still love it, but I don't think it will be my focus. Frankly, I don't know what I will focus on.  I simply intend to use this as a platform to talk about things I love, shows, books, musicals, makeup products, shoes, anything! I have been reading a lot lately, and tried the whole "let's make a book club" thing with friends and it never works. So I figure, if I want to talk about what I am reading, or have read, I'll have to blog it.

So thanks for reading. If you decide to stay and see what comes next, thank you. Don't be shy! Say hello!

OPI: My Dogsled is a Hybrid

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Today I want to share a gorgeous new creme from OPI. This is My Dogsled is a Hybrid. Disclosure: This is a press sample.

I love this color. I think it's perfect for summer and right on into the fall. It's a gorgeous blue green creme and what I love about it is that it doesn't have too much white so it doesn't wash out my skin tone. Sometimes these Tiffany style blues can do that. Not the case here. This stays shiny and perfect. Love it!

Two coats for perfect coverage, no complaints at all about the formula. Love it.

What do you think about this one?

Let me know what you think of this one? I am a huge fan!
